Overview: Draw curling for all! Draws are generally every Wednesday at 1 pm. Open to men and women.

Convenor/Contact: Brian Burant until the end of January, Heather Mitchell and Ken Waterman for February and March

Details: This is an “off the board” event. All members are welcome (Men and Women). Each week, anyone who has indicated an interest will receive an email asking them to reply if they anticipate curling on the upcoming Wednesday. The convenor will form teams based on the replies and display the teams on a board. The day before the game the convenor will advise everyone how many curlers have signed up. If it’s less than 32 others will be invited to come if they wish. These extra spots will be assigned on a first come first served basis. If more than 32 curlers have signed up the convenor will advise who is playing. If a member shows up and there are open positions, they can curl.

The teams are different each week. Draw curling is a great way to meet other curlers and is a fantastic entry point for those in our "Adult Learn to Curl" program. It is suited to all skill levels. It is recreational, non-competitive play. Records of wins and losses are not maintained. Most days scoring will be regular but occasionally “Skins” scoring will be used.
