Overview: Looking for a great winter activity? Our Adult Learn-to-Curl is one of the best in the city and we are very proud of it. New curlers or curlers who haven’t played in years are welcome to take advantage of our season long program which operates every Sunday from 1:15pm to 3:15pm. Convenor/Contact: René Boucher Details: Each two hour session is run by certified coaches and takes players through safety, how to deliver a stone, how to sweep, curling etiquette, positioning, strategy and lots of game play. We can accommodate adults of all ages and fitness levels. As the season progresses, our novice curlers gain real confidence by learning proper technique and game play. Typically after the first 5-6 weeks, our novice curlers are able to join the various draw leagues available at the Club at no cost and they start to meet other club members. It is also possible to join some of the fixed leagues when they start their second rounds. And of course, they are able to participate in any of the Club’s social events. We love our new curlers and want them to have a positive curling experience and join us the next season as regular members! Ready to join us? Click here to register.
