Policy

Shall be members to whom the voting members of the club have awarded this distinction upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors. This honour is in recognition of a person's meritorious service in the development of the club and / or club activities.

Criteria

  1. The person is currently or had been an active member of the club and who is or has been a member of the club for 10 full years.
  2. The person has been instrumental, through voluntary work, in the development of the club and or club activities.
  3. The person will have served on the club Board of Directors and / or a Division Executive.
  4. External involvement in curling associations or having been successful in curling association competitions is also a beneficial consideration, but not essential for this recognition.

Process

  1. Nominations will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval and recommendation to the Club membership
  2. Honourary life members shall be elected by a vote of not less than 2/3 of the members present at any annual general members meeting
