Mixed Fixed: Weekend

Overview:  Teams are fixed for the season.  Play is Friday evenings (normally 5:30pm and 7:45pm) and Saturday afternoons (normally 1:15pm and 3:30pm).  Up to 40 teams in five Divisions can be accommodated.

Convenor/Contact:   Bruce Coffin

Details:  Mixed Teams - "A team playing in the Weekend Mixed (Friday and Saturday) must be composed of a mix of genders. On teams of 3 and 1, the person whose gender is different from their teammates’ must either play 3rd or skip."

Individuals or pairs can also register and every effort will be made to place them on a team.

The schedule is rotational (meaning you will have games on either a Friday or a Saturday, rotating through the various time slots).

There are three 7-game round robin draws over the course of the season (usually 21 games total). At the end of each round, teams move up or down the ladder based on their results.

New teams can be added at the end of each round if there is space.

A league champion is declared based on the total aggregate points over the season.  The McCutheon Trophy (previous named the Carling) is awarded to the grand aggregrate winner.
